The ultimate Christmas planner from Busy B

Christmas. It’s the most wonderful time of the year. And most stressful. Figuring out where you’re going to spend the day, who’s cooking, remembering to send a card to that great aunt who you forgot last year but who hasn’t let you forget it over the last 12 months… Fortunately I’ve found something to help make Christmas a little bit easier. It’s not a huge wad of cash (soz) – it’s the Busy B Christmas planner!*

Now, you know I’m a sucker for stationery and don’t need any excuse for a new planner but this really is a must-buy. It helps you keep track of cards, gifts, meal planning and recipes, plus there’s enough space for five years! And all for the bargain price of £14.99. Plus look how pretty!

There’s a handy tear-off notes section on the inside cover, plus plenty of  pockets for storing all of those magazine and catalogue pages with recipes to try and the top ten toys list.

The cards section features tick boxes so you can note when you’ve posted your cards and also helps you keep track of people who sent you one so you don’t forget them next year. There’s even space for addresses so you really can keep everything in one place.

Now, of course I’m not going to share my filled in gifts pages (you never know who’s reading!) but it’s definitely been the most helpful section so far. I’m awful for picking things up in sales and putting them aside for people and forgetting all about them, so it’s great to keep track of what I’ve already got, especially when I have so many family and friends birthdays in the few weeks either side of Christmas. You can also track gifts received and remind yourself to send a thank you note – so helpful when we spend hours opening Jenson’s presents from everyone.

I’ve got to admit, I didn’t think I’d get much use out of the food section as Luke is the cook in our house but it’s a great place to store all those recipes I want him to try and to keep track of what we need to get in before the big day.

Plus there’s a whole section just for planning – be still my heart! Page and pages for lists and check boxes. Hubba hubba!

Each section also has its own notes pages so that you can jot down any additional notes to yourself.

Something I always constantly need more of at Christmas is tags and labels for gifts and I’m so grateful for Busy B for sending me some extras! And they match the planner perfectly. Swoon!

  1. Love the look of this! I have a similar one from Cath Kidston I’ve been using for about 4 or 5 years now, and I’d be lost without it. Having a place to keep track of everything makes Christmas so less stressful!

  2. This looks great! I use an app on my phone for Christmas gift planning as I can use it on the go, but love how pretty this planner looks. 😍 I’ve bought a few Busy B products before and love the quality.

    1. Technology has come so far but I still insist on using actual diaries and planners and reading ‘proper’ books. I wonder if that’ll ever change..
      They’re just so damn pretty!

  3. Where and when can I order this book? I used to have a similar one from Copywatch, which offered the book for 10 years, rather than 5 with you, but I can’t find any more of them, so can you let me know how I can get one of these, please, as it looks practically the same as the Copywatch version.

    Regards,
    Janet Joslin.

  4. I am finding it very difficult to find the order form showing the full price (inc. P/P) from your website for the new Busy B Christmas Planner (as advertised) so I am unable to order one, unfortunately.

    Can you help, please?

    Janet Joslin (Mrs).

    1. Hi Janet. Best to reach out to Busy B direct as this post is a few years old now and they will have updated their stock.

  5. It’s so frustrating seeing old posts on the websites, as one thinks they are still available. I have only found two instances on Amazon, but they are both stated as “Unavailable” and they don’t know if or when any more stock will be issued.

The new one now manufactured (JOY) is not the same at all.

Have you got a link to Busy B, as so many websites are popping up?

    Thanks for responding.

    Janet

  6. Thank you for your suggestions. Unfortunately, none of them show tge pages with the card list and 5-year option, as I wanted the exact type of page you showed on your book, so I’ll have to keep looking – all the suggestions from Amazon don’t show this page on any of their books, so I’ll have to wait and see if Busy B helps by reprinting the one I like!,

    Regards,

    Janet Joslin.
