12 Days of Christmas #8: Virginia Hayward hamper

I love Christmas Eve almost as much as Christmas Day. Growing up, I’d often visit the Mousehole Lights with my grandparents and watch my grandad in the choir, followed by watching Raymond Briggs’ Father Christmas and laying out treats ready for the big guy himself before bed. These are traditions I’m keen to continue with Jenson, especially now that he’s old enough to really take in what’s going on.

Does anything beat snuggling up as a family and watching Christmas films? I love a festive hamper of treats at Christmas and Virginia Hayward* has something for all tastes and budgets. Christmas Eve boxes are a growing trend and I love that they have the perfect family box. All you need to do is add your favourite film or book.

This stunning box contains everything you need for a festive night in, including hot chocolate, marshmallows, candy canes, fudge, shortbread and a chocolate bauble.

And where Virginia Hayward really excels with their hampers is the design and packaging. Everything is so Instagrammable, from the detail of the box, to the cute design on the fudge, the detail on the (Cornish!) shortbread and the delicate chocolate figurines in the hot chocolate.

  1. Ooh, never had a Christmas Eve box before, this one looks amazing! Especially love the chocolate bauble, very pretty. Wish my kids would sit still for more than 5 minutes to watch a Christmas film!
