I reviewed this book and journal earlier in the year and requested additional copies for this giveaway. All thoughts are my own
I’m sure most, if not all, of you fellow bookworms will appreciate the joy of a book about books. And, if you’re also a stationery addict, you’ll love a journal dedicated to your reading habits and recommendations. Bibliophile by Jane Mount is a wonderful celebration of all things bookish and the accompanying journal makes this the perfect Christmas combo.
Bibliophile really is the ultimate love letter to books, highlighting the best bookshops around the world, bookshop cats, overlooked classics, writing spaces, and so many recommendations that you’ll need an entire library just to house your new TBR.
Author Jane Mount is the brains/paintbrush behind Ideal Bookshelf, a wonderful site which started as a series of illustrations highlighting people’s shelfies. I had a bit of a think about the books that have had an influence on me and my reading habits/preferences and, while I could talk about books for hours and the titles which I think everyone should read at some point in their lives, I managed to narrow it down to the following pile:
What would feature in the pile of books which helped shape your life?
The Reader’s Journal is a great addition to the Bibliophile series. Packed with more wonderful illustrations by Jane, its 128 pages are filled with templates for recording your reading habits, as well as that all-important TBR, notes of inspiration, and some top recommendations. What more could a bookworm want?
