Starring Fran Kranz (Dollhouse, Cabin in the Woods, Much Ado About Nothing), Dichen Lachman (Dollhouse), Enver Gjokaj (Dollhouse), Felicia Day (Buffy, Dollhouse) and Caitlin Stasey (she played Dichen’s sister in Neighbours), there’s plenty to get excited about! And it looks suitably beautiful and quirky.
Fran plays Astor, a chap who blows it with his lifelong crush and asks her bestie to teach him how to be better with women. So far so cliched, but with a cast like that, who’s gonna argue? I first heard about this film when it appeared on Kickstarter or some such site over a year ago and I’ve been waiting with bated breath ever since. There’s still no UK release date confirmed but there is a DVD release coming up in the Spring. I’m just not entirely sure of the region.
