Learning to correct my posture with Calibre Support

You know how it is – you go to the day job, sit at a desk most of the day, come home and sit at another desk and blog the night away. Then when you go to bed you wonder why everything aches when all you’ve done is sit down all day. If you’re anything like me, it could be because you have shit posture. When I’m lost in a typing frenzy, I’m normally hunched over my keyboard instead of sat upright. Enter the Calibre Support Poster Corrector*.

The Calibre Support Posture Corrector claims to offer back, shoulder and neck pain relief, posture correction training and help slumped and rounded shoulders. Sounds like a no brainer, right?

Calibre Support Posture Correcto product review

The instructions say to start using the product for just one hour a day and increase the duration as it feels comfortable. I’ve been using it through the evening when I’m blogging in the hope of training myself for when I’m at work (it wouldn’t be an inconvenience to wear at work as I can cover it with a jumper but I spend a lot of time to and fro at meetings). I’m not quite trained yet, although I do see a difference when I’m at home. The first time I wore it I found myself slouching forwards but my shoulders were still drawn back by the device. Subsequent uses, however, have encouraged me to stop leaning forwards and my shoulders remain back, which is great. The slight tug on my shoulders seems to be enough of a reminder to stay sat back and upright.

Considering the posture corrector is available for just £10.00, I’d consider that pretty good value for money. They also offer a money back guarantee if you don’t see and feel a difference in your posture. Hopefully another week or two of use will have me fully trained.
