Time for my second Book Week giveaway!
I recently came across The Story Gift, a relatively new business which sells literary treats for book lovers. Based in Bath, they ship worldwide and offer fantastic gifts for bibliophiles and writers, including candles, book sleeves, prints, mugs, stationery, accessories and tote bags. They also create literary hampers, including specific ones focused on female authors, and for writers and book lovers, plus the option to create your own.
The lovely Deema sent me a fab package of products to review for Book Week, plus an extra little something to give away to one lucky reader. Read on for more info.
Included in the package was an Alice in Wonderland print*, CS Lewis print*, Vanity Fair candle*, book sleeve*, Pride & Prejudice mug*, and coaster*. Plus an extra mug for a giveaway!
Autumn is made for books and blankets and I’m loving the hygge feel of the products. That CS Lewis quote is one of my all-time faves.
I really loved the candle. It’s ‘pomegranate, mint and manipulation’ (how very Becky!), with quite a subtle fragrance. Some scented candles can be quite overpowering but this one is great to use in the office without offending Luke. Perfect for those hygge evenings.
And the sleeve! I have a few fancy editions but worry about throwing them in my work bag, as I generally only have time to read on the commute. Now I can keep them safe as the size is perfect for my thick clothbound classics.
I love that the mug features that Mr Darcy quote, plus a sassy Elizabeth quote.
To be in with a chance of winning a mug, just complete the Gleam entries below before midnight Tuesday 9 October. A winner will be drawn at random and contacted directly. They will have a week to respond before an alternative winner is selected. UK entries only.

What’s your favourite literary quote?
*I was sent these items for review purposes and all thoughts are my own

Lovely giveaway! I am fascinated to see what these candles smell of! I love Alice and the cup is ideal for my love of teas!
After all this time? Always

Ahhhhh ❤❤❤
I have loads of favourite quotes, difficult to choose 1, but this is the 1 that resonates with me right now:
“Someone who thinks death is the scariest thing, doesn’t know a thing about life.” Sue Monk Kidd, The Secret Life of Bees
I’m torn between 1984 and Lord of the Flies for my favourite classic
Debbie
Lord of the Flies is on my literary bucket list 👍
I’ll have to look at their website. I love the quote about tea and a book big enough. Want a print or sign, weirdly I was just thinking about this before I caught your post on Facebook!!! Watching Vanity Fair but I don’t like Becky anymore so it’s affecting my enjoyment of the series. I hate the way things have turned out for other characters too :/ oh well
My favourite quote has to be “I am no bird and no net ensnares me, I’m a free human being with an independent will” but my memory is terrible so I’ve got both quotes wrong 😂 Hand Eyre is my favourite classic
That’s a cracking one! Have you seen the fab Literary Emporium products which feature that quote?
Yes! On my ever growing wishlist. I never had space for them before but I got a bigger house now 😀
Lovely items 💜 My favourite literary quote is from Lady Bracknall in the Importance of being Earnest “To lose one parent, Mr Worthing, may be regarded as a misfortune; to lose both looks like carelessness.” Think my favourite classic novel is Sense and Sensibility.
I absolutely love that book sleeve!

I didn’t know I needed one in my life before now!
Frankly my dear I don’t give a damn is a favourite quote and can be used in many situations. I like Moby Dick but I love Interview With A Vampire if it can be counted as a classic.
I love Wuthering Heights – such a classic
Wuthering heights is my favourite
It has to be Gone With The Wind.
Most commonly used at work: curiouser and curiouser said Alice!
My favourite classic has to be animal farm 🙂
