Back in May, Vix launched Grow & Glow. It’s a fantastic community and resource for bloggers and creatives who have been going it alone for a while and are looking for like-minded souls to bounce ideas around with and build each other up.
I haven’t been able to dedicate as much time to it as I’d like so far (the perils of the working mum life) but I’ve seen instant benefits in terms of clarity and confidence, and I can’t wait to get cracking with my longer term goals.
Why did I join?
At the start of this year, I decided to start prioritising my personal and professional development. I wanted to take my blog ‘to the next level’ (in absence of a less wanky term) but couldn’t afford coaching or online courses. Then Vix launched Grow & Glow for a bargain introductory price of £9/month. How could I resist?
I’m fortunate to be one of the founding members and I’ve already learned so much. I signed up because I wanted to grow everything, from my confidence and skills, to my stats and opportunities. And I’ve already seen great results.
Why should you join?
If you want to take your blog or business to the next level, you’ll love these resources, which are fun and easy to explore and implement.
You’ll learn to nail your niche, identify your target audience, write an elevator pitch, create a visual brand – and that’s just in the first bundle! There’s a new bundle every month packed with multimedia resources, including training videos, templates, workbooks, task lists, databases and more, plus there are live chats and other interactive opportunities.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about the fab community. While everyone is at a different stage with their blog or business and has different goals, everyone is so supportive of each other. And you’ll add plenty of new accounts to your social media feeds.
It’s not just about downloading resources and growing by yourself, Vix and her team are here to help too, with guest post opportunities (check out my guest post on the benefits of journaling) and the chance to collaborate on events and resources.
If you’re like me and go a few weeks between checking out resources, there’s plenty to get stuck into on the social media accounts and on Slack. The chats on there have been so helpful, with thread for feedback and collaborations (guest posts coming soon), plus you can nab an accountability partner and there’s a member spotlight series.
And that’s just the start! I’m so excited to see how this community evolves, as well as the platforms that my fellow members are looking to grow. There’s a thread on the Slack channel for members to share their small wins and it’s so great to see how far everyone has come already.
Memberships will re-open today for £15/month (January 2020). This price will continue to increase every quarter as more resources are added but your membership price will stay the same. Sign up here.
