I’m due back at work on Monday and I really feel like I need it – not least because my TBR keeps growing! I’m also starting to think I’m not cut out for this SAHM malarkey, although I bet by the end of my first week back I’ll be missing him like crazy. What can I say, I’m hard to please. Here’s a look at what I’ve been loving this week.
Read: Just keeping up to date with my Bloglovin feed. I’ve received a few review copies though so I’ll have review posts coming soon.
I reviewed a sample of The Displaced earlier this week and my first book on my return to work next week will be One of Us is Lying in preparation for this month’s Blogger Book Nook post. Have you read it yet?
Watched: I’ve watched the first few episodes of season two of The Good Fight (such an awesome show) and I’ve found myself in vicious Grey’s Anatomy cycles, sometimes staying up until 1am because I just can’t stop. I’m a few episodes into season nine and the plane crash and the aftermath wrecked me a little bit.
Heard: I still haven’t caught up on those bleddy podcasts. Maybe I should dig out some earphones and listen to them on the train when I go up to the Stationery Show.
Made: My aunt buys Jenson a magazine every week and the last one came with some moulding clay and accessories to make a chick and bunny. Guess who ended up making them.
Wore: I took Jenson to the park last weekend wearing full-length leggings and winter boots. Big mistake! I went straight to New Look for some new shoes and these beauts were 25% off, so they only cost me £5.99. Timing! I’ve also switched to cropped leggings. Check me out!
And lastly: My postie must really love me because all of my National Stationery Week goodies are arriving. It’s certainly keeping me occupied when Jenson is asleep. I’ll share a preview with you next week but you can also catch sneak peaks as they arrive on my Stories.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend 🙂 Next week we start hitting the kids’ party season with three in the space of a week. Busy busy busy.

Ha ha are you a stationery lover by any chance? There’s nothing quite like a new notebook or a writing set. Love your new shoes. I’ve not braved baring much skin yet, bar one very cold Easter Sunday when I got my legs out for the first time in years. I guess that comes from being used to sunnier climes thanks to living abroad for years. It is so much nicer here when the sun comes out though #littleloves
Haha just a tad 🤓
Oh new shoes always exciting and looks like a great stack of books too. I buy too many at a time and then some aren’t as good as I thought or recommended. Will have to take a notes which you like best out of these. have a wonderful weekend ahead. #littleloves
I really like the sound of some of those books. Looking forward to seeing the reviews #littleloves
