As I type this it’s pissing down with rain but, for once, I don’t care. We’ve had another beautiful week and being stuck indoors for the day is fine by me, especially as Jenson seems to have come down with something quite unpleasant. Disney films and cuddles it is! Here’s a look back at our week in the sun.
Malteser Buttons
I spotted an ad for these a few weeks ago and finally found them in store! They need to do smaller bags as a pre-menstrual session saw the whole bag devoured in one evening – 500 calories worth! Oops.

Turning six
This little blog turned six a few days ago and there’s still time to enter my four (yep, you read that right) giveaways. They close at 10pm on Saturday. There’s a different prize for each platform (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), plus an extra one if you join my new mailing list.
Picnic
We went for a picnic in the park on Sunday and it was bleddy lovely. Most of my pics are of Jenson with chocolate ice cream all over his face.
Fun in the sun
Yesterday was the best. If you’re a three year old, what more could you ask for than painting, the park, the beach, a chocolate ice cream, a ride on an open-top bus and tea with Grandad? One happy kiddo! I was also super proud of myself for rocking the cozzie while playing with Jenson in the sea. I even asked Luke to take some photos as I’m fed up of not having any photos of the two of us together, meaning I’ll have nothing to look on in years to come. It’s more important that I treasure days like these than worry about how I looked.
I’m a bit delayed with this post as I’m writing it after getting home from Friday night cocktails (I’ll share those pics next week but you can check out a preview on my Stories). I’ve not got much else planned for the weekend, which is just as well while Jenson isn’t well. I wonder what films he’ll select for his movie marathon weekend…
