I want to give a shout out to an amazing new designer. Based in Cornwall, but available on Etsy, Silly Old Sea Dog provides amazingly quirky dresses and skirts for adults and young ‘uns alike. The first one to take my eye was this awesome Hungry Caterpillar dress which I saw at a Truro & Penwith College exhibition.
I immediately checked out her Facebook page and discovered that she makes lots of other delightful dresses and they’re all made to order. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to stretch my bank balance enough lately but I’m determined to have at least one by the end of the year. Here are some of my favourites.

Alison is lovely and very talented, I purchesed my daughter a ‘Mr Men and Little Miss’ dress in August whilst on holiday, planning to get her one of Alison’s christmas ‘Grinch’ dresses! Would recommend.
