Gorgeous book covers: Penguin clothbound classics

They may say you should never judge a book by it’s cover, but these Penguin Classics are so pretty that they would make a great addition to any bookcase.

You can pick up all of the titles from Waterstones for a little over a tenner each (£10.49). I have barely begun my collection (Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Emma, Jane Eyre, Little Women, Pride and Prejudice, Shakespeare’s Sonnets) but I would like to own them all eventually – they’re numbered so it would be incredibly rude not to! What I particularly love is the apt cover imagery, for example, the flamingos on the cover of Alice in Wonderland and the scissors on Little Women. Perfect!

  1. Have you seen the new Penguin Threads editions? They’re equally gorgeous! I recently bought the Little Women edition, and I absolutely love it.
