Review: The Glamour Beauty Edit

When I was reading the latest issue of Glamour on the bus coming home from work, I felt compelled to shop! That doesn’t happen very often, but I got my phone out straight away, headed over to the Latest in Beauty website and ordered the Glamour Beauty Edit. £14.95 including delivery for a box of goodies worth £65.00? That was an offer too good to resist!

So, what’s the verdict? Well, it arrived in a pretty little box and was nicely wrapped, but I was a tad underwhelmed by the size of the products. I didn’t think to check the sizes; I just figured that a box of beauty products worth £65.00 would feature full-sized items. Granted, some were – full size tweezers, eye liner, nail polish, false eye lashes and lip gloss – but the items I could really get some use out of (facial wash, dry shampoo, frizz-ease, porefessional) came in sample sizes.

I’ve not gotten round to using all of the items yet so I’ll update you soon. I can, however, vouch for porefessional, having used that before, and the tweezers. They grab small hairs much better than my old cheapies.
