I was watching Milkshake the other morning, as I always do (the joy of parenting!), and an advert popped up for something that I actually considered buying – the SmarTrike. We’re going to buy Jenson a balance bike once he can walk and I wondered if it would be counter-intuitive to buy him a trike/stroller. After chatting to Luke it turns out that it’s actually a really fun idea and I browsed a few sites to get a feel for prices. They’re generally about £100.00 but I spotted one on Smyths Toys for £79.99. Not too shabby! If colour is a deal-breaker (as is so often the case with me!), there’s a slightly more attractive baby blue one for an extra £20.00. They’re for age ten months plus and I reckon it would be great to walk into town along the cycle path in the summer to meet Luke from work at the weekends with one of these bad boys!
