You may remember that last week I launched my new Friday Favourites series and I had a lot of fun putting it together. It’s so easy to get bogged down with the minutiae of commuting to work and the routine of being a working parent and it’s nice to be able to take a minute to remember the little things you love and what you’re grateful for. With that I give you the second installment of my Friday Favourites! Enjoy.
1. Tidy office. Yep, I actually managed to tidy the office last weekend! No more struggling to find something amongst piles of paperwork. I wonder how long it’ll last. It’s all in aid of a home office tour post coming soon – luckily I already took the photos so if it’s a mess by the time it’s posted, it doesn’t matter! Ssh!
2. Me Before You. This was my book of choice for the commute this week. It was almost a bad choice but I managed to hold back the tears three times towards the end – I surprised myself! A mini review will pop up in a ‘what I’ve been reading lately’ catch-up.
3. New Mash top. When you become a parent you find that every ‘spare’ penny you have goes on your child. And I’m totally fine with that but it’s still super-cool when people buy me nice things, like this beautiful Mash top. I got it in white last year and I’m super-chuffed to add the navy one to my wardrobe.
4. Falmouth Summer Shows. There’s nothing like walking around a summer show at the number one arts university in the country to make you feel both simulataenously inspired and utterly talentless! The children’s collection by Charly Ambler was one of my faves. I must see if she’s selling any red tractor stuff online…
I fell in love with loads of stuff wandering around the various Fashion, Crafts and Textiles departments and I’m gonna share them in a post next week.
5. The Flash bouncy ball. Luke is actually the best. Whenever we go shopping in Sainsbury’s we always pop by the Ā£1 machines on the way out so he can buy me a toy. I’ve been collecting the DC bouncy ball toys for a while now and he completed my collection for me while I was at work. He’s so freakin’ awesome!
What have you loved this week?

love the look of your office
Thanks š It’s just my half – my partner’s has a massive 3D TV as a monitor and framed posters on the walls. His furniture is black and mine matches – I wish I had a white desk for flatlays though š
Those little bouncy superheroes are so cute and so cheap! I’ll have to look out for them š
So chuffed to complete the collection without too many duplicates – just two extra Jokers and one extra Catwoman. I gave my brother one each and have a Joker on my desk at work sat next to my BMO Happy Meal toy š
