Every morning on my way to work, before I dig my book out of my bag, I catch up on my social media, emails and all-important Bloglovin feed (yes, my commute is that long!). I always love seeing what everyone else is getting up to, swooning over their beautiful photographs and seeing what books, films and TV shows I need to check out next. Here’s what I’ve loved reading this week.
Sophie had a particularly shit bus journey which reminded us all why we still need feminism
I’m in love with Vicki’s new bedroom setup
Jenson has started crawling under the dining table and clambering into his ball pit (it’s where we store it – we don’t make him play there!) so I think it won’t be long until he appreciates the awesomeness of dens
Growing up is hard and I loved Stephanie’s post on adulting
I need this Bramley apple and bacon frittata in my belly, like now!
The struggle is real! Liza hit the nail on the head with the pain of struggling to create that perfect blog photo
I bleddy love Gwennan! Anyone else guilty of committing any of these blogger sins? I totally bought peonies yesterday #sorrynotsorry
Want to double your traffic? Holly spills the beans
I loved Sarah’s post on coming home – particularly her photos of one of my fave places, The Rock Pool Cafe
I really need to brave the buggy on the cobbles and head to St Ives because the Little Acre Kitchen sounds lovely
Oh em gee there are so many pretty places on Jordan’s 15 before 30 travel list. I wanna go to all the places!
Film & TV
I’ve already mentioned how awesome the women have been in this season of Game of Thrones and Hello Giggles have listed the eight most feminist moments in the series so far. Pretty bad-ass
I really need to bump Everyday Sexism up my TBR list. Sidebar: Just went to check that it was already on my Amazon wish list and noticed that Laura Bates has a semi-new book out called Girl Up *adds to wish list*
