Recently I went to Dolly’s Tea Room & Wine Bar in Falmouth for my friend’s hen do. The venue was so beautiful and the food so tasty that I just had to photograph everything and post a review. If you like a traditional afternoon tea, gin served in teapots and labradors wearing pearls, this is the place for you!
I don’t venture into Falmouth very often. I work in Penryn and always head straight home at the end of the day, so it’s been a few years since I was last in Dolly’s. I forgot how awesome it is! From the funky decor to the dog who just wants to make friends, it’s so inviting. And the staff certainly know how to keep you hooked, with quirky gin-filled teapots, home-made cakes and a range of tea, coffee and cocktails; there’s something for every taste.
We pre-booked an afternoon tea and I was not disappointed. The tea was practically bottomless, the sandwiches soft and fresh and the scones were warm and served with a very generous helping of jam and cream. #jamfirst
If you’re visiting Falmouth over the summer, be sure to pop into Dolly’s – and say hi to Hebe the labrador!

HOW cute is this??/ I flippin love Falmouth, I have the best fish and chips there every time I go. Definitely going to have to make a trip down here with my Mum, she collects novelty teapots like those – she’d be in heaven!
There are some proper beauties down here 😊
