One of Us is Lying, Spider-Man and gardening #LittleLoves

I went back to work this week after a month off, somewhat looking forward to getting away from the SAHM life, only to have the mum guilt flare up almost immediately because Jenson had a tummy bug. Is there anything worse than being at work, knowing your child is at home poorly? On a more positive note, here’s a look at a few of the things I’ve loved this week.

Read: I read One of Us is Lying at the start of the week to coincide with this month’s Blogger Book Nook theme (crime/thriller). It definitely made me think about the effects of social media and cyber-bullying.

Because I managed to get through the book in two days I had a commuting day free to finally read the latest issue of Blogosphere.

Watched: We finally saw Spider-Man Homecoming as the cinematic release of Avengers Infinity War is fast approaching and it’s the one Marvel film we hadn’t seen. I’m pleased to report that it’s a fun couple of hours and Tom Holland is awesome as Spidey but it wasn’t as fun as Guardians of the Galaxy or Thor Ragnarok.

Heard: Jenson is singing more and more and his new favourite is singing along with the Peter Rabbit theme tune.

Made: Bit of a cheat this week but I helped Jenson and his aunt plant some seeds, so we’ll soon have some sunflowers to watch grow at Nanny’s house.

Luke also made some pretty epic mini toad in the holes.

Wore: Nothing new to report.

And lastly: I won’t be back with another Little Loves for a couple of weeks as next week will be dedicated to National Stationery Week (plus an additional post for a book’s blog tour because I just can’t help myself) and the following Friday is Star Wars Day, so I’ve got a special post planned. Could that sentence be any nerdier?

Have a lovely weekend!
