I’ve been a fan of Breathe magazine since the first issue. For me, it’s self-care personified, giving me the chance to escape from the world for a little bit, whether I’m reading it in bed, in the bath, or on a busy bus. Just the act of reading it is relaxing and it’s always packed with interesting features with tips on how I can make positive changes in my busy life. Plus it’s stunning to look at.
Issue 13 is out now and is as beautiful as ever. I particularly enjoyed relatable articles on summer reading, journaling, 90s detox and being a kindrovert.
And that’s not all. You may have spotted one or more of Breathe’s previous specials, their journals, and they recently released a Nature Journal, focusing on how engaging more with nature can increase our wellbeing.
I’ll be honest, I’ve struggled to get into the mindfulness trend, as I find it really difficult to shut my brain off and reap the benefits, but having prompts really helps. The Nature Journal covers all four seasons, so you can get loads out of it for just £7.99. As always, the design is impeccable.
As with previous publications, it’s beautiful inside and out, with plenty of food for thought. Jenson loved going out for a nature walk and it’s something I’ll certainly be implementing more into my day-to-day life.

This looks great, have you read In the Moment magazine? If so, how does this compare?
I’ve read a good few issues of both and they’re pretty equal. In the Moment tends to have some cute paper-based freebies and has a bit more on yoga and travel. Breathe focuses a bit more on mindfulness and feels a bit more ‘educated’.
I’d never heard of Breathe magazine, so thanks for introducing it, it looks really interesting. My favourite season for exploring nature is autumn, love all the colours as the leaves change.
Ooh yay, always happy to introduce new people to it 🙂
Both of these look like my sort of thing! I think my favourite season for exploring nature is probably Autumn, although I love Spring as well, when it all comes back to life again, too.
Spring because everything is blooming.
