[Ad – review. I was sent the following products for review purposes and all thoughts are my own]
It’s no secret that I’m a massive bookworm and stationery addict but sometimes I can’t help but feel guilty about all of the paper I use. I refuse to use an e-reader, I start a new notebook for each project, and I love cute postcards and greetings cards. Fortunately there are plenty of brands to help me make guilt-free purchases, such as Dingbats with their recycled, vegan bullet journals, Stib with their charitable donations, and now BLOOM your message.
Bloom your message is another of this year’s Launchpad winners and it’s easy to see why the judges took notice. Their growing cards are a unique and wonderful gift idea. Made from sustainable and recycled paper, they’re packed with seeds so that your message lasts long after the card comes off the shelf.
There are 30 designs available, with a range of seed types, including tomatoes, rocket, thyme and wild flowers.
You can also buy sets with wildflower confetti. Perfect for plant pots or simply throwing around the garden.
And that’s not all! They also stock the most wonderful pencils. Instead of your usual eraser, each pencil is topped with a seed capsule. Once you’ve sharpened your pencil for the final time, just pop your pencil in a pot upside down, water and wait. Mine will grow into a sunflower!
We don’t have a garden but we do have a balcony, so I popped out for a couple of grow bags, soaked some of the cards and covered them over. I’ve never been great at keeping plants alive but I’m feeling hopeful. I’ll be sharing my growing adventures over on my Stories, so don’t be a stranger. Hopefully it won’t be long before I’m feasting on my own rocket and thyme. I just hope the neighbours’ cats stay away.
BLOOM your message is a Dutch company and their products will be available in the UK later this year. Don’t worry, I’ll link you up when they’re released. In the meantime, would you like to win a selection of cards? Just enter below via Gleam.
Terms and conditions: This giveaway closes at midnight on Wednesday 17 April. One winner will be chosen at random and contacted directly. If they don’t respond within one week, a new winner will be selected. Open to international entrants.
