And that’s a wrap on the May #JournalInMyStyle challenge! The winner of the giveaway has been declared on my Stories (congrats again, Joanne) and these epic prizes will soon be on their merry way.
In case you missed the challenge, I wanted to tell you a bit about the awesome products Executive Pens Direct have to offer.
I highlighted something different every day and focused on the Stardust Gelly Rolls for the first day. I’ve been a big fan of Gelly Rolls for a year or so but hadn’t tried the Stardust collection before. They’re sooo blimmin’ smooth and shiny – I love the extra sparkle they added to my May cover page.

When it comes to scheduling, I won’t be without an erasable pen. I know that bullet journals are meant to get messy and it’s ok to move, migrate, and remove tasks, but everything looks so much better when you use an erasable pen – especially when you can get them in different colours! I flipping love the different characters from Legami.

Speaking of Legami, their highlighters are freaking adorable too. And I didn’t realise until I started using them that they’re scented! They’re my new faves.

While I usually have a word of the year and a couple of generic goals, I also like to add seasonal bucket lists to my journal. I’ve been using a lot of vibrant colours lately and this new Noodler’s Cape Cod Cranberry ink did the job beautifully. I didn’t get on so well with it with my dip pens but it works a beaut with my Opus 88. I’ll definitely be checking out some more colours.

Speaking of fountain pens, you can’t beat a Lamy and I’m loving the new shades. How stunning is this Mango number? And they do Mango ink too! Such a reliable brand when it comes to avoiding the ol’ ghosting/bleeding and smudging.

Now for the Dutch door. I’ve been in awe of these for ages but have always been a bit scared to try them – so of course I had to add them to the list of prompts! And what better way to give it a go than with a book tracker (inspired by Kristin’s Chaotic Life). I used the Sakura Pigma brush pens for this spread, including the book detail. These pens are so versatile, whether you’re lettering or drawing, and I can’t recommend them enough.

Throughout the week I used my Legami bullet journal and it really is a thing of beauty. Available in a range of colourways with the option of personalisation, it comes with 192 numbered pages (100gsm), two page ribbons, and an elastic closure, plus built-in contents, key, monthly planners, goals and travel spreads, plus daily weather logs. What more could you want?
