On Friday I did a pretty good job of slowing down and looking after myself. I had my first lie-in in weeks because Jenson’s gymnastics session isn’t on over Easter (sidebar: why do most playgroups stop in the holidays?!), I had a long shower and made blueberry and lemon pancakes for brunch.
After Jenson’s lunch I took him down to the park to play in the sun for a bit (it’s suddenly suncream weather!) before picking up a few bits at Lidl and heading home to watch Moana. Luke went out for dinner with his colleagues (he brought me home a slice of cheesecake! What an angel!) so I popped a frozen pizza in the oven, had a knackered Jenson in bed by 7pm and hit the laptop for a big ol’ blogging sesh. Perfect!
Lazy days off have certainly changed since Jenson came into my life! What’s your ideal lazy day?
