I love Royal Talens. Most fellow stationery addicts will know that they are the exclusive suppliers of the likes of Ecoline and Sakura, but did you know they supply eight other brands too? Bruynzeel is one such brand and they produce a fantastic range of products for creatives of all ages. Royal Talens sent me one of their Sketchbook of Dreams and a brush pen set to put to the test – plus there’s a set up for grabs!
I always start with a pen test and was really impressed with the range of the 24 colours – and I love the double-edged combo of a brush tip and fineliner (0.4mm).
I put them through their paces with a few Christmas doodles. I really enjoy mixing up brush tips and fineliners in the same picture.
The sketchbook measures 14.28x21cm and features 160 140gsm pages, complete with bookmark and elastic closure.
