You may remember that at the end of last year I went to my very first craft fair, the Outlaw Craft Fair. Well, it’s back! And I made sure to drag my mum along nice and early again so that we could grab one of the goody bags. We also started out nice and early with a huge slice of carrot cake from The Cornish Hen. If you’re ever wandering around Penzance and get a bad case of the munchies, they do great pies and cakes!
My mum announced a couple of weeks ago that she wants to start making things too and has just ordered a sewing machine. Hopefully there will be a few fun projects we can work on together. And our goody bags were a good starting point. We got tote bags, purses, a brooch making kit, craft supplies and a lucky sixpence.
We had a good nose around the stalls and found plenty to fall in love with. I didn’t buy anything but picked up a lot of business cards so that I could browse their websites at a later date.
I’m a teeny bit obsessed with lightshades at the moment. I arrived at the craft fair early so I could get the freebies but if I hung around later, I could have watched a demonstration.
