Sophie Kinsella has another book out soon! It’s not in the Shopaholic series (the next book was teased at the end of the last one) as she is making her foray into the Young Adult world. As already mentioned, I don’t have a problem reading young adult titles at my wise old age, so I’ll definitely be pre-ordering this one. After my initial disappointment that it wasn’t about finding Audrey Hepburn, I was intrigued by the synopsis. It seems a lot of young adult writers are delving into mental health issues, with Holly Bourne’s next title also exploring mental health issues amongst teen girls.
Audrey can’t leave the house. she can’t even take off her dark glasses inside the house.
Then her brother’s friend Linus stumbles into her life. I applied to review this recently but alas three is no book in the post – humph. I enjoy reading YA novels as they usually have great pacing, a funny or unusual premise and don’t tend to be overwhelming door stops , ha!
