I can’t go shopping in Truro or Plymouth without popping into Waterstones and I can genuinely spend a good hour walking around. I had the briefest of all looks when I went to Plymouth the other day but managed to spot this bad boy – the 10th anniversary edition of Identity Crisis. It’s not a story arc I’m familiar with but I was drawn to the rather beautiful hardcover. It was over £20 so I couldn’t bring myself to buy it but I did the obligatory Amazon search to see if I could find it cheaper – after all, Waterstones were selling Elmer books for £6.99 when they’re half the price on Amazon. I’m all for supporting actual stores but sometimes needs must – especially when it comes to maternity pay! Anyhoo, Amazon have it for £18.29 but if you go through one of their sellers, you can pick it up for £11.71 (plus £2.80 delivery). I don’t get much time to read these days, so I’m in no rush to buy it at the moment, but it’s definitely one for the wish list!
