When I was Christmas shopping in Truro a few backs I popped into Waterstones, as you do, and marvelled at the festive paperbacks. I fell for these beautiful editions of Poirot - The Adventure of the Christmas Pudding and Hercule Poirot's Christmas. Aren't they just the perfect stocking fillers for bookworms? I have to admit,… Continue reading Item of the day: Poirot from Waterstones
This is always a fun gift guide to put together - and stressful, as I remind myself what literary goodies I've already shared recently. Got a bookworm in your life? Looking to treat yourself? There are some great boxsets and accessories here, if I may say so myself. Roald Dahl centenary boxed set, Wordery, £59.97… Continue reading 2016 Christmas Gift Guide: For bookworms

I'm a sucker for beautiful books and the latest edition of The BFG is no exception. I want, nay, need, the full Roald Dahl collection (I only have The Twits at the mo - my fave) but this edition of The BFG definitely needs to be bought as a stand-alone copy. The dust jacket may… Continue reading Item of the day: The BFG from Waterstones
I don't know if you've noticed but I blog a lot about books with beautiful covers. I've recently pinned and wish list-ed a whole load more that I want to share with you but I don't want to re-share anything I've mentioned before - there's only so much space! So if you want to see… Continue reading Beautiful books
Instagram is a wonderful thing but it doesn't half increase my wish lists! I spotted this beautiful edition of Peter Pan on Waterstones' Instagram and it just screamed out "I'm so much cooler than that other edition you shared last week!" And it's right. Look how pretty! It's only £9.99 too!
I first spotted this gorgeous edition of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Beautiful and the Damned on The Trendy Sparrow's Instagram. When I came to search for it on Amazon I found a whole load of other gorgeous hardbacks in the same style. I need the whole range, right?! The prices range from £7.44-£14.94.
I can't go shopping in Truro or Plymouth without popping into Waterstones and I can genuinely spend a good hour walking around. I had the briefest of all looks when I went to Plymouth the other day but managed to spot this bad boy - the 10th anniversary edition of Identity Crisis. It's not a… Continue reading Item of the day: Identity Crisis 10th anniversary hardcover from Amazon

I'm gutted that I can't make the Audrey Hepburn exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery (day trips on the train to London are virtually impossible when you've got a three-month old) and have been perusing the online shop on their website to make up for it. I love the quote on this tote bag -… Continue reading Item of the day: Audrey Hepburn tote bag from the National Portrait Gallery
