It’s moments like this that I’m grateful for my re-organisation of my Bloglovin’ account. I cleverly created a separate collection for the posts I have read and loved, ready to upload to a Follow Friday post, making life super-easy when I come to do it at 9.45pm on a Friday. I’m armed with a bottle of cider after a hectic day (spent at home, doing four loads of laundry, two loads of dishes, squeezing in some photography ahead of next week’s National Stationery Week posts and looking after a teething baby) and ready to share this week’s best of the web. I suggest you grab your own fave beverage, settle down and enjoy!
Books
Alice has definitely piqued my interest with her review of The Day We Disappeared. Hello, Amazon wish list!
Katie’s post on her childhood faves gave me all the nostalgic faves. I loved Enid Blyton and Goosebumps too – might have even picked up some old copies at a car boot to flick through
I’ve just finished reading Caitlin Moran’s Moranthology and Lydia’s review has reminded me that I need to get hold of Moranifesto!
Blogger’s Bookshelf’s group collaborations posts are always a great way to get loads of awesome recommendations in a short space of time. Check out these debut novels
Lifestyle
I loved Holly’s posts on dealing with stress effectively. I know I need to take more time for myself but it’s easier said than done. Fortunately Jemma has some great book recommendations too
Bluestone National Park really does look like the perfect family holiday and Disneyland looks like the perfect place for a hen do!
I’m glad I’m not the only one who struggles to find the perfect pair of jeans!
Whenever I’m feeling really shitty about myself, all it takes is one post from Hannah Gale to make me realise I’m not alone. That post this time was about them body feels
Blogging
Although I tend to use my own photography, except for item of the day and wish list posts, I found Dana’s post on free stock photos to be a great resource. And if you wanna up your own photography game, Cat has recommended some great places for buying props
Been wondering how to display links in sponsored posts? Fran’s got you covered with her post on no-follow links
