Self-Care Sunday #32

I’ve been daily blogging for a while now and I bleddy love it – although some days it’s a bit of a struggle. Don’t get me wrong, this schedule is entirely self-inflicted; I have so many ideas and there are so many awesome brands and creatives that I want to work with that I am never short of content. I get so excited by every single idea that I just can’t help myself! But in order to be able to work consistently I also need to take regular breaks.

On the nights where Jenson is in bed early and Luke is raiding (any readers with gamer boyfriends will know what I’m talking about!), I schedule a few posts in advance while I’ve got a few hours of quiet. That way I can get an early night or binge watch more Gilmore Girls later in the week. Clever, huh!

I’ve read so many blog posts lately where the writer is apologising for having taken a day, week or month away from their blog and it’s so silly. The readers will always be there. Taking a break is so important – no-one can keep it up forever.

  1. Thank you for sharing this post. I was about to write a post, starting with an apology for taking so long to reply, but you’re so right, we all need a break sometimes and shouldn’t be so hard on ourselves.
