Disclaimer: I’ve worked with Cult Pens before but bought these myself
Much like #bookstagram, there is a fab online community of lettering lovers, ready to help newbies with tips, tricks, and product recommendations. So, while I have a folder of screenshots on my phone bursting with books to add to my TBR, I have another with pens I want to try out, as well as a Pinterest board of lettering styles I’d love to learn.
I’m such a lettering nerd that I get major FOMO when I see a particular pen all over my feed which I haven’t tried yet, so I just had to get a few of the Zebra mildliner brush pens.
Cult Pens has 15 colours to choose from and I think I’m going to have to complete the set after trying these. I normally struggle with the larger tips but these felt easier to control than Tombow.
I’m a sucker for various shades of blue and these are so beautiful. I added a Fude to my order too but think I need a bit more practice.
There are three nib types to choose from and I think I should have gone a bit finer, as this was a bit juicier than the Pentel Touch I usually favour.
