This post is part of a paid partnership with Executive Pens Direct
After the success of my first #JournalInMyStyle challenge, I’m back for another one in May. It’ll take part throughout the first seven days of the month again, with similar prompts, as well as a rather epic giveaway with a stationery bundle worth over £75!
In case you missed the last one, #JournalInMyStyle is a new monthly journal-along challenge. I set daily prompts for the week for participants to share their own spreads and gain inspiration from others – plus the chance to grow their stationery stash with some great giveaways. It’s all about journaling in your own style without pressure to set up spreads in a certain way. It’s about creativity and community rather than comparison and competition.
May’s challenge is sponsored by Executive Pens Direct and we have the following goodies up for grabs:
Every time you post from 1-7 May using the daily prompts you’ll gain an entry into the giveaway – just remember to use #JournalInMyStyle and tag @ACornishGeekLetters. The challenge/giveaway is open to international entries and the products will be featured within my own posts all week so you can find out a bit more about them. I’ll also close the giveaway at 8pm on Monday 8 May to allow for anyone running a bit late with their posts.
The prize includes:
- Legami bullet journal
- Lamy fountain pen and ink
- Sakura Pigma brush pens
- Legami highlighters
- Noodler’s ink (colour may vary)
- Selection of Legami erasable pens
- Two Stardust Gelly Rolls (colours may vary)
Now for the prompts…

1 May: May cover page
2 May: Schedule. This can be a monthly/weekly/daily spread or a future log
3 May: Tracker – habit tracker, mood, TBR, films watched, etc
4 May: Seasonal bucket list. This can be one for spring/summer 2021 or an oldie
5 May: Daily joys. I’m sure most of us have lists of the little things that bring us joy for the days when we’re feeling a bit shit. Don’t have one and don’t want to start one? Feel free to share a gratitude log instead
6 May: Dutch door. I’ve been meaning to try these for aaaages and I thought adding a prompt would give me a good excuse to try them. Never heard of them before? Check out these: @OopsADaisyUK, @therainbownote, @thumbelinaprint, @chohannahletters, and @thisandsomuchmore.
7 May: Your journal. Show off your current journal and its features. What’s a deal-breaker for you when buying a new journal?
