I’ve got a double whammy of a review post for you today: an Archer & Olive Neapolitan journal plus the Acrylograph pens (Jewel selection 0.7mm).

I tried for a while not to buy into the Archer & Olive hype but it turns out they’re all over Instagram for a reason! I reviewed one of their notebooks back in March 2020 and was lucky enough to be treated to a Neapolitan journal last Christmas.

For those of you not in the know, the Neapolitan features a mixture of white, kraft, and black paper, so you can have oodles of fun with it. It still has a dot grid, so you can use it as a bullet journal, or you can use it to play with different pens and make it more of a lettering or art journal.

As we all know, the Archer & Olive paper holds up well with watercolour, so you can use this journal to show off all of your products, be they traditional watercolours, ink, brush pens, etc. And, surprise surprise, they’re perfect for the new Acrylograph pens.

I treated myself to the Jewel selection (0.7mm) earlier this year and they’re so much fun. As they’re paint pens, they work really well with each type of paper.

Super fun, right? I’ve got my eye on the Spring Vernal collection next.
You can buy both the Neapolitan journal and the Acrylographs from the wonderful Under the Rowan Trees.
