I’m continuing celebrating my blog’s fifth birthday by shouting out some of my favourite places in Cornwall.
I’ve mentioned before how much I freaking love The Mexico Inn* – and I’m clearly not the only one. Not by a long shot, as they just won Best Destination Pub! The food there is incredible and I love that their suppliers are local. They also host fantastic events throughout the week, so there really is something for everyone. Chippy Tuesday is definitely a highlight for me.
Whether you’re a local or popping down to visit over the summer, their fish and chips are definitely something not to be missed. If you don’t fancy sitting in to eat them (you totally should – and try a pink lemonade while you’re at it!), you can get your chippy to take away and enjoy it along the cycle path or on the beach just next door.
If you’re looking for a thick, tasty fish, chunky hand-cut fries and a super-friendly atmosphere, you’ll find it at The Mexico Inn.

I walked past this place yesterday while going to the beach, the food smelt so good! By your pictures the food also looks so tempting.

I did end up in there last night while Rob and Logan went to cricket. I must add that the service was perfect, I only had to wait 7 mins which gave me enough time to get home to watch Hollyoaks haha 😀
