Self-Care Sunday #25

When I sat down to have a go at calligraphy the other night I was reminded of how relaxing I find it to take some time away from screens and do something creative. I used to really enjoy spending time doodling in my bullet journal but I started to get a bit stressed and anxious when I didn’t have time to work on it and stopped. I think it’s so important to spend some time just doodling or colouring and letting your mind wander – it works wonders for my creativity. I received a ‘colouring for calm’ book as part of my latest stationery swap (full post coming soon) and there are so many cute pictures.

You can pick up adult colouring books so cheaply these days and there are loads of free printables online too. I love this one from Blurt.

What do you like to do to help you relax away from your screens?
