Book review: Personalised My Golden Ticket from Wonderbly [+ giveaway]

When I saw on Twitter that Wonderbly had just released a new personalised book for fans of Roald Dahl I knew this was something I had to review. I had a personalised story book growing up and I jumped at the chance to order a copy of My Golden Ticket* for Jenson, especially one linked to my own childhood; I was/am a big fan of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The problem was, once I’d seen how awesome the book was on their website, I really wanted to personalise it for myself instead! Fortunately I could personalise it for Jenson (to save for when he’s older) and write myself in as an extra character, so we could both enjoy it!

There’s so much to love about this beautiful book. The illustrations are gorgeous and there are so many lovely personalised elements, from the custom dedication, to their own Wonka bar – there’s even an Oompa Loompa song based on the name you select!

There are various presentation options when buying online too. I went for the hardback option plus giftwrap – look how pretty! It really is the perfect gift for bookworms of all ages. Gotta love the nostalgia factor.
