Earlier this year I blogged about my quest to find the perfect blog planner. And I’ve only gone and bleddy found it!
Danielle from Dot Creates has done her research with this one, surveying bloggers for weeks (myself included) to find out what they want and need. And it ticks all of my boxes: it looks good, has a beautiful cover, has fun and functional section pages, is organised weekly with plenty of space for notes as well as planning posts, plus it’s super colourful.
One of the things I love about small businesses is the attention to detail with the packaging. Unboxing the planner is an experience in itself.
The new blog planner is completely hand drawn and freaking stunning. Plus my participation at the research stage earned me a discount and free print – and my mum ended up paying as an early birthday present. Win win win! Still, the Ā£28.00 price tag is a bleddy bargain. See how thick it is! So much content!
The hard cover is sturdy, the gold edges protect it from bumps on the go and the quote is sheer perfection – sure to cure many a writer’s block. And if you need more motivation, just take a look at the quotes inside, featured at the start of every month, along with space for your monthly goals and weekly priorities.
There’s also a calendar, key dates for the year and a sticker sheet.
I really do feel like it has everything I need. With the previous Dot Creates ultimate blog planner, I felt there were too many pages dedicated to planning individual posts. I don’t need to spend a lot of time on that amount of detail so I like that there’s space to schedule posts whilst also having the freedom to jot down ideas for those that need more thought.
Typically I track my stats in an Excel doc at the end of each month but I love that there is space in the weekly sections to track what’s worked well that week – great idea!
I also like that the sponsored content pages are back so that I can keep track of what I’m expecting.
Of course, every planner needs a handy notes section and I’ve been using this to plan my #30DaysofPaper Instagram challenge.
I genuinely can’t fault this planner. It’s stunning and has already made me feel so much more productive and organised after just a couple of weeks. Go get yours! Or ask Santa nicely.

It’s just soo beautiful! I definitely agree with you here, Danielle is amazing and I can not fault her new planner. Like you I helped her deciding on what should be included. I think we’ve all done a great job and she’s done a great job designing it! This just gets me excited to be using it next year.
