Even though I’ve been out of education for a while now (*cough* six years *cough*), September still has an element of magic for me. As a stationery addict, back to school shopping is one of my favourite times of year and I love the opportunity to snap up a new pencil case or refresh my pen collection. And don’t get me started on notebooks – I have an extensive stash for ‘just in case’. So teaming up with high street favourite, Ryman, is pretty flipping exciting.
The notebook is A5 and lined, with space to date the top of each page – handy for class or meeting notes, or to use as a journal.
The STABILO Swing Cool Highlighters are exclusive to Ryman. They have a non-slip grip and come in six colours (the pack features an additional yellow and pink pen). They also feature Anti-Dry-Out Technology, with a four-hour cap-off time. This year’s National Stationery Week cemented STABILO’s status as my favourite pen brand and it’s easy to see why they’re Europe’s best-selling pocket highlighters.
I did a pen test at the back of the notebook, as per usual, using a Zebra biro as a baseline to test the pastel highlighters. There was a little bit of bleed through at the start and end of my line strokes, which is just something to be aware of for future use. I much prefer pastel to neon shades and would definitely recommend.
And how flipping cute is this pencil case? The notebook and pencil case are both super soft and, I have to admit, I might have spent a bit too long stroking them (for review purposes!). The pom pom is a sweet additional touch.
