Review: The Positive Planner

I won a set of Positive Planners in a giveaway earlier this year and was interested to find out how they could help support my mental wellbeing. I’ve decided to review each one in turn so you can see which one would best suit your needs. Up first: The Positive Planner.

The Positive Planner - review

The original Positive Planner was crowdfunded by Ali and Finn in 2017. Endorsed by a Clinical Psychologist, The Positive Planner helps you to manage and maintain your mental health and wellbeing via daily journaling, with spreads to encourage reflection, gratitude, mindfulness activities, and mood tracking. Rather than focusing purely on the positives, this planner provides space for you to record the negatives as well as the positives, acknowledging that it’s ok to have bad days, and reminds you to always be kind to yourself.

It’s set up with a different ‘chapter’ for each week, where you can note your intentions, as well as your shopping list and meal planner.

I like that the days are broken up, allowing you to plan in the morning and reflect in the evening. It’s handy to keep by your bedside as you can plan first thing and reflect/unload before you to go sleep.

There are plenty of inspiring and empowering quotes throughout, as well as pages to colour. Luckily for me, I keep a pencil case by my bed too.
