Regular readers of this blog will know that I’m a massive lettering nerd. I’ve been developing my skills over the last year or two and I’m really pleased with the progress I’ve made throughout the pandemic – we all need a creative outlet! Check out my ‘lettering through lockdown‘ post if you missed it last month.
I was excited when Royal Talens reached out for a World Calligraphy Day giveaway as I love sharing the lettering love. They’re genuinely one of my favourite stationery brands and count Ecoline and Sakura amongst their fab product line. In fact, I have a post coming up about how I’ve been getting creative with Ecoline products over the last few weeks, and they are also sending over some Sakura Koi brush pens for me to try out. I’ll report back soon.

Any tips for a newbie?
I highly recommend Blink Lettering’s resources. Once you’ve mastered the basic strokes everything else starts to fall into place 😊

Thank you for the chance to win. I signed up to a calligraphy course last year and it was my intention to complete it this year but then lockdown happened and I became school teacher, dinner lady and hairdresser instead! These prizes might focus me to start that course. 😁
