After 18 years of education and eight years of working in higher education, September will always signify the start of a new year for me – and an excuse to update my stationery stash. I was really excited to try more GellyRolls and loved having a play on black paper.

I’ve become a big Derwent fan this year (I reviewed the Inktense pencils back in April) and started getting to grips with the Academy Watercolour Pencils over the weekend. Ignore the terrible lettering attempt below!
