I was sent a set of inks for review purposes and the winner will receive their own set

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve regretted not buying the Diamine Inkvent Calendar last year and I was so excited to see the different inks made available individually this year – doubly excited when Executive Pens Direct asked if I’d like to try some. Just look at these bottles!

I had to try Gold Star – look how shiny! My favourite Diamine inks are the shimmering colours but Gold Star is by far my favourite. Let’s take a look at it in action…

So shiny! All of these inks are available in 50ml bottles and the shimmering shades are £10.99 each (the others start at £7.99). These fountain pen inks can be used with dip nibs but I preferred using my Opus 88.

Snow Storm is a beautiful pale grey full of shimmery flecks. So understated and perfect.

I can never resist a blue shade and tried Happy Holidays too. This one is a shimmer and sheen, so the base is a blue ink with a purple sheen, plus loads of blue shimmer.

Stunning, right? Other shimmery shades include Blue Peppermint, Solstice, Jack Frost, and Winter Miracle.
