I recently joined the Creoly Early Bird Club reviewer program and just received my first item to review: the Creoly Th[ink] Hardbound Dotted Notebook*.
Its Amazon description claims it’s perfect for bullet journalling and it’s not hard to see why. Available in three colours (black, red or blue), you can pick your cover to suit your mood/personality. The dot grid is proving popular with journallers, allowing for flexibility of content, so that’s a sure-fire win right there. Plus it’s water-resistant and has a hard cover – perfect for when you’re out and about.
I picked the black cover and customised it straight away with a few stickers.
The most important thing for me when it comes to notebooks and journals is decent paper stock and the ability to use a range of pens, so I put it to the old pen test.
Th[ink] dot grid notebooks are made by designers, for designers, so the 120gsm paper held up well against everything apart from the Sharpies, which had significant bleed through. Fortunately my new favourites, the Pilot pens from last week’s stationery swap, had next to no bleed-through, which is perfect. My old reliable erasable pens fared well too, with virtually no evidence of any erasing activity.
Features:
- A5 size (21 x 13 cm)
- Hard bound dot grid book with dotted pages
- 120gsm high quality, acid-free and ink proof pages – also 100% vegan!
- Matte finish
- Water resistant, durable thread-bound binding and hard, textured cover
- Comes with an expandable pocket inside back cover, ribbon bookmark and a matching colour elastic closure
If you’re new to bullet journalling, or thinking about giving it a go, forget the expensive Lechtturm’s, give Th[ink] a go!
You can order yours on Amazon for £11.99, with free delivery.
*I received this notebook for review purposes and all nerdy thoughts are my own.

This looks just like a Leuchtturm! I’m in the process of migrating from a lined notebook into my first Leuchtturm but I’ll consider the Th[ink] notebook for my next journal. Also I love how you decorated the front with stickers.
Would you say the pages are bright or off white?
Good move! I’d say off white 👍
Awesome. Just need to get started on my current book haha. Can never have too many though.
