Self-Care Sunday #16

One of my highlights of the week is taking Jenson to his swimming lesson. Of course, it helps when we have time to stop for coffee and cake with our friends after, but I actually really love just being in the water with him. He’s so happy and fearless, it’s great to see, and it’s probably when I’m at my happiest – despite how knackering it is when he wants to keep jumping into the pool and I have to keep catching him.

My self-care tip for you this week is to go for a swim. Whether it’s solo or as a family, in a swimming pool, the sea or a quick dip in a padding pool, just get in the water. You might find it particularly soothing.
