For a few weeks now I’ve been teasing a week of giveaways on my blog but I’m actually kicking things off a day early! Yep, that’s eight days of giveaways! And we’re starting with a Self-Care Sunday post because we all know how important it is to look after ourselves – and I’m going to make it a bit easier for one lucky reader with a spa day!
Last week I went on my very first spa day. I’ve had the odd treatment before but I’ve never taken a large part of my day, lounged by a pool, been looked after and been treated to a swanky lunch to boot. The service at St Ives Harbour Hotel & Spa* really is fantastic and the staff were so lovely.
A Spa Day at St Ives Harbour Hotel & Spa includes use of the facilities (pool, jacuzzi, sauna – and gym if you’re that way inclined!), a 25-minute treatment and lunch or afternoon tea. We went crazy and my mum picked afternoon tea, I picked a tapas lunch (a chicken ceasar salad starter plus three dishes – prawns, chorizo and halloumi) and we shared the lot. There was more food than we could manage between us and I didn’t need to eat anything in the evening. Plus we were treated to a glass of bubbles each. Pure bliss.
It really is a lovely treat in the summer as we were able to dine out on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful beach view.
I was so impressed by the treatments too. The rooms were so relaxing and the staff put me completely at ease. I had a foot treatment, which included a scrub, massage and mini French pedicure, and my mum had a facial, which included a head and shoulder massage. To say we felt relaxed afterwards would be a massive understatement!
For me, it really is the perfect package. When you consider the treatments, food, service and facilities, it really is the perfect way to spend a day off, especially when you factor in the venue itself and the location. As nice as it is inside, it’s also lovely to sit out on terrace with a cup of coffee.
And one of these fabulous spa days can be all yours! Just complete the Rafflecopter below (click on the ‘a Rafflecopter giveaway’ link) and one lucky reader and their guest will be treated to the ultimate pamper sesh very soon. Good luck!
