It’s been another long and knackering week – three nights out of the last seven I’ve gone to bed with Jenson and not had an evening to myself (self-care anyone?) and there’s so much I want to get done. I felt super-productive when I changed all the bedding yesterday though; you can’t beat fresh sheets. Here’s a look at the slightly more interesting parts of my week.
Read: Anna Kendrick has kept me company on the ol’ commute this week. Scrappy Little Nobody isn’t quite as hilarious as her Twitter feed but it’s definitely worth a read. I’ve also been reading some new Nosy Crow books with Jenson. Check out our review here.
Watched: I finally saw Beauty and the Beast! Holy crap it was so freakin’ magical and I had to bite my lip to keep from crying at the end. I also saw the Walking Dead season finale, which I found a bit underwhelming. Since the jaw-dropping season opener I’ve found it quite slow and expected the finale to be what I imagine will now eventually happen at the end of the next season. At least Game of Thrones is back soon, albeit for a super-short season.
Heard: Jenson laughing/squealing a lot. He found a discarded pop of bubbles and gave them to me to blow at him. He bleddy loved it – it really is the little things, ey?
Made: Chocolate spread and ice cream wraps. OK, so Luke made them but I’m planning on taking photos next time and writing a recipe post. They’re incredible!
Wore: Spring has arrived and I’ve spent the odd day wearing pumps instead of boots! I haven’t brought myself to fully commit and put the boots away yet though.
And lastly: There’s no Baby Aquatics or Gynmnastics over the Easter period so I need to find new and free/super-cheap ways to keep the boy entertained. Any ideas? We might get the Smart Trike out and go for some walks, weather permitting.
