What Jenson has been reading lately

I’m not the only lucky bookworm in the house who gets sent books to review – Jenson does too! Here’s a look at what we’ve been reading lately.

Jenson loves anything interactive and board books are still our style of choice, making these the perfect titles. Up first is Buildablock* by Christopher Franceschelli.

It’s such a fun book for children who are obsessed with vehicles. For a long time Jenson yelled “car!” at every moving vehicle but he’s slowly learning more names, thanks in part to this book.

There are so many flaps to open and vehicles to discover.

Other titles available: Alphablock, Countablock, Dinoblock, and Cityblock. I think we’ll be putting Dinoblock on our Christmas list as the kid is a bit dinosaur obsessed too.

We were also sent Atronauts* and My Body*, perfect additions to our push, pull and slide collection. We’ve previously reviewed Night Animals and Sea Creatures and they’ve really helped with Jenson’s vocabulary, so I’m hoping these will help too, especially as we’re still working on head, shoulders, knees and toes.

I love that Jenson is so into books and that he has learned so much from them already. I’m all for anything that will encourage children to learn things in a fun way and I’m looking forward to reading more titles with him. There’s a dinosaur title available too.

*We were sent copies of these books for review purposes and all thoughts are our own
