Let’s be honest, if we’re meeting a friend for coffee, heading out on a date night or planning a family day out, we want to go somewhere that looks good on The Gram. We might not like to admit but it’s all thanks to this crazy social media obsessed world we’re living in. Which is why I’ve put together a handy post featuring some of the most Instagrammable places in Cornwall. Whether you’re looking for the ultimate view, brunch spot or milkshake, I’ve got you covered.
Of course, we have to start with the obvious: The Eden Project. It’s a must-see when you’re visiting Cornwall and those domes are instantly recognisable.
St Michael’s Mount is a bit closer to home for me. Don’t fancy walking up to the castle itself? You can’t beat the view from The Godolphin Arms – and they do mocktails served in pineapples!
If it’s elevenses with a view you’re after, The Rock Pool in Mousehole is also pretty hard to beat – and you can follow it with a wander around the picturesque village.
St Ives is a bit of a stunner too.
The Cornish Barn has awesome decor and super-tasty cocktails. Pop by for Happy Hour to get more cocktails for your buck.
Looking for non-alcoholic drinks? Mermaid Alley does flipping incredible milkshakes. The unicorn freakshake is so photogenic.
Stopping for brunch? The Front Room is a beaut – and the pancakes are incredible!
If it’s cake you’re after, there are plenty of options. Curiouser Creations in Redruth is a bookworm’s dream, with its Alice in Wonderland-themed decor and baked goods.
You can’t beat Trevaskis Farm for dessert though, especially if you want enough for two or three sittings.
Looking for the perfect backdrop to complement your selfie? There’s some stunning artwork outside The Vault.
Sure, Cornwall is pretty stunning in the summer, but there’s still plenty to see off-season. Don’t miss Trevaskis Farm’s pumpkin patch, Mousehole’s Christmas lights or Truro’s City of Lights parade.
There are still plenty of places I need to visit, including Padstow and the Tremenhere Sculpture Gardens. I also really need to revisit The Lost Gardens of Heligan for the first time since I was a kid.

Have I missed any places out?

St. Ives and St. Michael’s Mount are definitely two of the most photogenic, Instagrammable places in Cornwall, in my opinion, too. Everywhere you turn there is gorgeous. I think you can’t go wrong with shots of any of the beaches, especially Perranporth and Porth Beaches, either, and Padstow is rather beautiful, too. Also, you can get heart-shaped cream teas from Berryfields Farm near Padstow, which have got to be the most Instagrammable cream teas I’ve found! I’m not sure I’ve ever been to Mousehole (possibly once), but I definitely need to check it out next time I holiday in Cornwall. I’d love to see the Eden Project, too, but it’s so expensive. xx
I’ve still never been to Padstow but it sounds lovely. Maybe this summer 🙂
