I've just received my second Liebster Award nomination, thanks to Amila from Many Little Obsessions. I have previously nominated others, listed facts about myself and posed my own questions (blog post here) but I am more than happy to take part and answer Amila's questions! So here goes: 1. What is your life credo? I actually… Continue reading The Liebster Award (part 2!)

Coming soon to DVD: Game of Thrones Season 3
I think I'm the only geek in the world who hasn't seen Game of Thrones yet. It's on the list and I intend to catch up this year - just as soon as I'm done with Castle, The Mentalist, The Walking Dead, Arrow, Elementary... and Chuck! I've still not seen Season 5. Then there's Breaking… Continue reading Coming soon to DVD: Game of Thrones Season 3

Goodbye 2013, hello 2014!
I've just read back my hopes for 2013 post and I don't think I've done too badly. This year, I didn't set myself resolutions, rather I made a short list of things I wanted to achieve. Here's how I cracked on with them: 1. Learn to sew I might not have actually learned to sew… Continue reading Goodbye 2013, hello 2014!

It is the day before Christmas Eve and I still haven't seen the Coca Cola advert! I haven't seen the truck on tour either. I feel like I'm really missing out. Which is why I love that you can buy your very own Coca Cola truck from Truffle Shuffle for £21.99. Maybe I should get… Continue reading Item of the day: Coca Cola Truck

Continuum: The new Fringe?
I love Fringe. It's awesome. But sadly, like all awesome things, it must come to an end. I'm not necessarily looking for something to replace it. When Dawson's Creek ended, I refused to replace it with The OC until halfway through the second season, and I didn't replace that with One Tree Hill until the… Continue reading Continuum: The new Fringe?
New favourite TV show: Elementary
I'm a sucker for American crime dramas - The Mentalist, Castle, Fringe... I never got into the British show Sherlock, and was reasonably entertained by Robert Downey Jr's Sherlock Holmes, but I didn't think I'd like Elementary as much as I have so far. It's only two episodes in in the UK but it has… Continue reading New favourite TV show: Elementary
