I've read 42 books so far this year, so I'm only about six to eight weeks away from hitting my GoodReads target of 50. I smashed it with 64 last year, so we'll see where we end up in a few months. I recently reactivated my library card, which has allowed me to catch up… Continue reading What I’ve been reading lately #9
I re-joined my local library days ahead of Feminist Book Fortnight and now my world has suddenly opened up in terms of reading potential. I've been struggling with a budget recently which has curtailed my spending on anything other than bills and food and now I can read again - beyond the titles which lovely… Continue reading #FeministBookFortnight: A wish list
Because so much of 'my' month is filled with photos of Jenson, I've decided to split this post into two parts - one featuring my month (general lifestyle shiz) and one featuring Jenson (outfits, toys, activities, etc). Fun, right? 1. I wrote about my miscarriage for Baby Loss Awareness Week 2. I went to The… Continue reading My life in photos: October 2015
I fell in love with these tights as soon as I saw Dawn O'Porter and her little dude wearing them on Instagram. I haven't got a clue what I'd wear them with but they're pretty frickin' cute! They're €20.00 for the adult pair.
I love Dawn O'Porter's Jane skirts. My faves are the quotes skirt, which includes quotes from Jane Eyre, and the Paper Planes skirt, based on Flo and Renee's first outing. It's a shame about the £180 price tags.
I'm jumping on this book tag bandwagon after coming across it over on Best Endeavour. I'm still finalising my review of the last #lbloggers chat so, while I'm working on that, check out some of my book buying habits - and please share your own! Where do you buy your books from? I don't like… Continue reading The Book Buying Tag

Dawn O’Porter is one of the most fabulous women on the planet. You all should have seen her somewhere at least once before – presenting a TV show/documentary, writing columns for Glamour, raising awareness of breast cancer, on the arm of Chris O’Dowd… There’s literally nothing this gal can’t do. And that’s why I was… Continue reading Book review: Goose
It didn't take long for my posts to become less regular. After two weeks of two posts a day, life has started getting in the way again (over-time, teeny hint of a social life, etc) and I've not shared as much of the internet's awesome as I would have liked this week. I've been trying… Continue reading Highlights of the week
Hands up who's read Paper Aeroplanes... Not yet? Well get on it! The sequel (which I first heard about mere days ago!) is out next month! Paper Aeroplanes is the fabulous Dawn O'Porter's first young adult novel (although still appropriate for slightly older adults to read) about an unlikely friendship between two teenage girls growing… Continue reading Item of the day: Goose by Dawn O’Porter
